Join LaTasha Barnes (Urban Artistry, Assassins Crew International) for classes in Waacking, Hip Hop and House Dance every Friday at 8:30pm in November at DC Dance Collective 4908 Wisconsin Ave, NW Washington DC. She incorporates years of hip hop dance experience, fitness training and leadership skills to each of her classes and draws from a wealth of experience training in various styles of urban dance with the Assassins Crew and UA to provide a strong educational experience for her students, encouraging them to be fearless in their execution.
Tasha has competed and won several national competitions around the country including, "Rock Tha Beat, at Bashville Stampede, Nashville TN (March 2009) and at the "House 2 vs. 2" at BreakFestival in Los Angeles, CA (Summer 2009). She was also a strong competitor, alongside other UA members Toyin Sogunro and Sopheye Richard in the Waacking 1 vs. 1 at House Dance International 2008.
