A special thanks to www.dancemetrodc.org for inviting us to join them as a guest at the ACDFA Conference here in DC last week. Founder/Executive Director Junious Brickhouse was accompanied by Scott Rink of DanceRink another MSAC award winner for Dance Solo in 2010, along with Dance/USA and Dance Metro DC Staff for a panel discussion on working in the professional dance community as a Director and as a Performer.
Later thank night Urban Artistry joined the young dancers at an after-showcase party at The infamous Watergate 660 Restaurant across from the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to dance to the sounds of Urban Artistry's DJ Baronhawk Poitier.
Peter DiMuro, Toyin Sogunro, Ryan Webb, Emily Wessel, Phillip Chang and Junious Brickhouse all came out to perform solos and get down with the visting dancers from all over the country.
